Day in the life of a Centre Manager
April 2, 2024
Every year, communities across the UK come together to take part in the Great British Spring Clean, the nation’s largest mass-action environmental campaign. This year, Harpurhey Shopping Centre proudly joined the movement, doing their part to keep Manchester tidy.
From the 15th to the 31st of March, volunteers participated in the Great British Spring Clean and Great Big School Clean 2024. On the 20th of March, Harpurhey Shopping Centre rolled up their sleeves and got involved in the clean-up efforts.
Led by Neil Lindsay, the Centre Manager, and Sameera Gunaratne, the Operations Manager, alongside the dedicated security team, Harpurhey Shopping Centre made a meaningful impact on their community. Armed with litter pickers, gloves, and bags, volunteers worked tirelessly to pick up litter and debris in and around the shopping centre.
At Harpurhey Shopping Centre, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and community engagement. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on our local area and beyond.
Let’s keep Manchester beautiful, one clean-up at a time!
